Convenience Transportation, LLC, a subsidiary of Kwik Trip, Inc., services our 800+ Convenience Store locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.  This position is responsible for assisting the Perishable Transportation Director in the overall operation and management of the Transportation Department to include:

• Co-worker recruitment, orientation, retention, development and supervision
• Assist in developing, updating and conducting training programs
• Assist in management of logistics operations
• Create work schedules
• Write performance appraisals
• Follow and enforce all company policies
• Provide leadership to all drivers

Qualifications: 

• Five or more years of related management and leadership experience required
• Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
• Strong  proven leadership skills
• Accurate and detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to provide co-workers with timely and professional job performance feedback
• Exercise sound judgment within company guidelines
• Follow and enforce company policies
• Prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks
• Strong time management skills to meet department deadlines
• Demonstrate high level of customer service
• Ability to operate a personal computer
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Possess a valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
• Work in fast-paced, safety conscious environment
• Specialized training and familiarization is needed with commercial motor vehicles, licensing, endorsements, etc.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Materials, DOT, FMCSA, OSHA and EPA regulations is required
• Candidate must live or be willing to relocate to Twin Cities Market or surrounding area
