The Kwik Trip Inc. Facilities Team is responsible for the repair and maintenance at our 800+ Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, and Tobacco Outlet Plus Grocery stores. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working and change orientated individual to help us ensure our stores’ fuel equipment is operating properly. Join our Fuel and CNG service team as an entry level Fuel Service Technician 1 where you would receive on the job training while being responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on petroleum fueling systems.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D and some mechanical aptitude.  Knowledge of gas, diesel, natural gas, electricity, plumbing, and general maintenance experience is a plus but not required.  Additional qualifications/requirements include:

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Strong interpersonal, organization, and written/oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Physical requirements:  frequently stand/walk up to 8+ hours; lift up to 75 pounds; bend/squat/twist and stoop/kneel/crouch frequently; grasp/pinch/grip frequently; work in a variety of weather temperatures/conditions. 

Work Schedule:  40-50 hours per week. Typically Monday through Friday daytime hours as well as occasional overnight stays.

Location: Candidate must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to the Owatonna / Mankato area markets.
