The Kwik Trip Inc. Facilities Team is responsible for the repair and maintenance at our 700+ Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, and Tobacco Outlet Plus Grocery stores. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working and change orientated individual to help us ensure our stores’ fuel equipment is operating properly. Join our Fuel and CNG service team as an entry level Fuel Service Technician 1 where you would receive on the job training while being responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on petroleum and Compressed Natural Gas(CNG) fueling systems. This position is aimed at training a person in the core competencies required to obtain Gilbarco GVR Dispensing Systems certification. 

 

Work Schedule:  40-50 hours per week. Typically Monday through Friday daytime hours as well as occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D and some mechanical aptitude.  Knowledge of gas, diesel, natural gas, electricity, plumbing, and general maintenance experience is a plus but not required.  Additional qualifications/requirements include:

  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, and written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

 

Physical requirements:  frequently stand/walk up to 8+ hours; lift up to 75 pounds; bend/squat/twist and stoop/kneel/crouch frequently; grasp/pinch/grip frequently; work in a variety of weather temperatures/conditions. 

 

Location: Candidate must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Racine / Oak Creek / Kenosha, WI areas
