Full Time Vendor/Data Governance Analyst - La Crosse, WI:  This person is responsible for assisting in management of all vendor/contract information to include requesting, entering, tracking, updating and verifying data while following the Data Governance standards and policies in order to ensure the integrity of vendor master data.  This individual’s primary responsibility is vendor set-up and maintenance, which includes the following:

  • Request, collect, and analyze all vendor packets based upon established vendor requirements and the Data Governance Program
  • Follow-up with vendors and Kwik Trip business units to process vendor set-up requests in order to maintain accurate, up-to-date data
  • Monitor the vendor master data system to ensure continued compliance with Kwik Trip vendor requirements and the Data Governance Program
  • Monitor vendor categories and data to ensure compliance of all vendors/contracts in order to reduce risk. 

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: review and modify vendor documents annually to ensure compliance with company established guidelines and data governance requirements; coordinate adjustments to vendor classifications through the review of documents and the use of vendor risk waiver system; provide enterprise wide data governance assistance and cleansing of data; and conduct internal audits to verify required documents are on file and that the information is current and within standards.


Qualifications:  Associates degree in a related field, with 1-3 years of business, or insurance experience, or a combination of lesser education with 3+ years of experience that provided equivalent knowledge.  Candidates should possess knowledge of the following: vendor/contract set-up; general data governance/master data knowledge; general procurement policies and guidelines; 1099 regulations; internal auditing procedures.  Additional qualifications include: excellent customer service skills; ability to follow policies and guidelines to ensure vendor and master data compliance; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to maintain confidential information; ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; ability to be a team player and work effectively with minimal supervision; ability to operate general office equipment (fax machine, scanner, copier, etc.); knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP, and contract management software is a plus, and the ability to learn new systems as required; excellent computer skills for word processing, spreadsheet management, mail merges, etc.


Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, typically daytime hours
