Due to Kwik Trip’s continued growth and success we are adding an additional Full-Time Telecommunications Lead.   While best known for our product and service offerings to our 8 million retail guests each week throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, a lesser known fact is beautiful La Crosse, WI is home to our ever expanding 140+ acre support campus.  Our La Crosse Campus includes a wide variety of production facilities, distribution center, truck maintenance facility, transportation/logistics, store construction, fuel trading, sales, and pretty much every support department you can imagine a 23,000 co-worker strong organization would have. 

What you’ll be doing…

As a Telecommunications Lead, you will be responsible for leading the review, analysis, evaluation, implementation and maintenance of the voice and video communications services within the company in an effort to continually provide necessary and effective internal and external communication and collaboration.

Additional responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluation and determination of proper technical procedures and documentation
  • Training of Telecommunications team and other coworkers
  • Performing vendor relationship management and leading negotiations for products and services
  • Oversight of billing reconciliation and remediation activities
  • Advanced troubleshooting for the Telecommunications team and other business units

 

You’ll need to have:

  • Associate degree in Information Systems/Network Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant telecommunications experience
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet project and department deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with the following Cisco Unified Communications technologies: Call Manager, Unity Connection, Contact Center Express, Jabber IM and Presence
  • Experience configuring Cisco digital and analog voice gateways.
  • Cisco based technologies practices and procedures for configuration and performance tuning of the Cisco Unified Communications platform
  • Cisco Unified Communications security practices and procedures
  • Practices and procedures involving the use of protocol analyzers and network sniffing technologies for troubleshooting VoIP protocol communications

 

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with Cisco Social Miner
  • Experience with Telemate Unified Communications Analytics
  • Experience in a VMware virtual environment
  • Experience with advanced call flow manipulation and management
  • Experience managing overhead paging systems
  • Understanding of ITIL framework and processes
  • Knowledge of wireless 4G/5G environments
  • Cisco Collaboration training and/or certification

 

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours with rotating on-call responsibilities. Weekend and non-business hours work may be required as needed.
