Kwik Trip, Inc. is growing, and we have a need for a Support Center Recruiter, who will focus on recruitment for positions at our Support Center campus in La Crosse, WI.   This Recruiter will work with a wide variety of Hiring Leaders.  A successful candidate will need to be able to earn the Hiring Leaders’ trust through open lines of communication, understanding the departments’ business objectives and position requirements, providing high caliber candidates that meet the Hiring Leaders’ staffing needs, and meeting other performance metrics.


This professional will be responsible for implementing innovative, diverse, and long-term strategies for proactively sourcing high-caliber candidates through internet job boards, passive recruiting, career fairs, on-campus recruiting events, professional affiliations, and other means; developing an effective recruitment network and identifying opportunities to partner within the community; screening and evaluating candidates using behavior-based interviewing, reference checks, and background screening, as well as recommending candidates for hire; coordinating company hiring events; coordinating recruitment advertising; provide timely communication and follow-up with applicants & Hiring Leaders; ensure compliance with EEO, ADA-AA and other employment laws throughout the selection process.



  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Prior interviewing or hiring/recruiting experience
  • Relationship building & presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate point of view
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, customer service, relationship and time management skills
  • Ability to lead others in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of business strategy
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Knowledge of Career Central is a plus.
  • Must live in close proximity to La Crosse, WI. 


Physical qualifications include:  ability to sit, stand, or drive for extended periods of time; work up to 9+ hour shifts; lift up to 20 lbs.


Work Schedule:  Typically Monday through Friday, daytime hours but schedule must be flexible to accommodate needs of applicants.  Some evenings and weekends may be required if necessitated by business needs.  This position requires working a minimum of 45 hours per week.
