Full Time Retail Labor Specialist, La Crosse, WI:  Kwik Trip’s Retail Operations Department is looking Store Operations Labor Specialist.


Job Description:

This individual’s primary responsibilities will be working with Kwik Trip’s Retail Group to be responsible for the administration and support of Kwik Trip’s Retail Workforce Management platform as well as ongoing support and maintenance of Retails’ Labor Standards.


Regular tasks include:

  • Assist Retail Workforce Management operations in analyzing, prioritizing, and implementing new process improvement initiatives
  • Management of Kwik Trip’s Retail Workforce Management system and Labor Standards
  • Provides and ensures the most effective operational support and training is provided to our District and Store Leaders related to labor management
  • Ensures the timeliness of schedule creation and delivery to the standards of Retail Operations
  • Conducts qualification analysis on current and new Retail processes to ensure that the labor provided is consistent with the labor needed for effective execution
  • Benchmarks and establishes performance metrics to measure Kwik Trip performance against industry or competitor’s


Qualifications: Associate’s degree or commensurate work experience, as well as 3 years or more years’ retail experience and/or experience in the support of Kronos software applications/labor scheduling

Candidates should possess the following:

  • Knowledge of Workforce Management Systems, willing to gain the knowledge of Kronos and become certified in Kronos WFM Forecast and Scheduling
  • Knowledge in scheduling labor diverse sales and store setting, along with knowledge of best practices
  • Experience with various formulas and statistical analysis processes to perform Cost Benefit analysis, time studies, and needs assessments
  • Ability to gain knowledge of Opus Labor Standards platform
  • Knowledge in the use and application of automated labor scheduling techniques and principles


Successful candidates should demonstrate:

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Skills in the use of Microsoft office programs with emphasis on Excel and Word
  • Skills in Data Analysis and documentation
  • Ability to develop approaches to solving problems and to identify issues and select a plan of action
  • Ability to collect information from available resources, evaluate, and summarize into meaningful results
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities while interpreting into meaningful results


Candidate must currently reside or be willing to relocate to the La Crosse, WI area.

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours, or as needed to perform duties.
