The Manager of Enterprise Data, Architecture and Engineering is responsible for enterprise data strategy.  You will be responsible for setting direction for modeling, building, scaling, governing and supporting a data management platform that breaks down data silos to enable data driven decisions across the company and ensuring that teams have access to reliable, reusable and catalogued data in a discoverable, consumable and timely fashion.

 

Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define, champion and govern data architecture standards, tools and standard methodology  
  • Establish and maintain Enterprise Data Model blueprint to provide reference and framework to all of IT and the business 
  • Inventory, develop and maintain conceptual and logical data models; identify business critical gaps and discrepancies
  • Work with our Data Governance and other technology areas to build out current and future states of our Master Data helping to source, verify, enhance, share and consume our master data
  • Work with Business Intelligence team building a practice of data quality, data integrity and data usability within our data warehouse and reporting tools  
  • Create data delivery roadmaps for all areas of the business, keeping a shared vision of data across the organization

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management or related field of study.
  • Minimum of four years related work experience.
  • Knowledge of the best methodologies in enterprise data management (data quality, metadata management, master data management, data lifecycle management and data lineage).
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management practices and tools – experience with Informatica a plus.   
  • Knowledge of data security principles.
  • Experience working with data analysis, migration and modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing design concepts and ETL tools.
  • Knowledge of reporting and visualization - experience with MS Power BI a plus.  
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate sophisticated technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience.       
  • Excellent project and people management skills.         
  • Ability to establish and promote technology and data strategy.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and complete multiple projects efficiently.       

 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours or as needed for the business.
