Full Time Human Resources Generalist - La Crosse, WI: Due to Kwik Trip’s continued growth and success we are adding an additional Full-Time HR Generalist.   While best known for our product and service offerings to our 8 million retail guests each week throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, a lesser known fact is that beautiful La Crosse, WI is home to our ever expanding 140+ acre support campus.  Our La Crosse Campus includes a wide variety of production facilities, distribution center, truck maintenance facility, transportation/logistics, store construction, fuel trading, sales, and pretty much every support department you can imagine a 36,000 coworker strong organization would have. 


As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible assisting our internal and external customers with regard to Human Resources related needs in a high volume, dynamic Contact Center environment while representing Kwik Trip, Inc. in a courteous and professional manner.  The Generalist will interact with customers via business platforms, while utilizing their knowledge base to answer questions and provide assistance in the completion of human resource transactions.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Distinguish between Human Resources calls determining the appropriate way to handle as determined by established protocols
  • Accurate documentation to ensure proper course of action was taken
  • Ensure customers and co-workers satisfaction by personally committing to consistently exceeding customers and coworkers expectations
  • Assisting Benefits, Employment, Payroll, Recruiting, and Safety by being better than the best
  • Train co-workers and customers and promote all changes within the function of Human Resources
  • Administration of Human Resources day-to-day operations



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience (Human Resources and Customer Service) is required
  • Knowledge of Kwik Trip Mission and Values
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Proven ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
  • Typing proficiency of at least 50 plus words per minute
  • Accurate/detail oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate resolutions to complex Human Resources issues
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work with others in a team-based atmosphere
  • Displays patience during chaotic situations
  • Self- starter, performance orientated
  • Ability to respond to a continually changing environment
  • Embrace Technology
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus
  • Willingness to relocate to the La Crosse, WI area.


Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours (HR Hours: 7:00 am until 5:00pm) with occasional weekends
