Due to Kwik Trip’s continued growth and success we are adding an additional Full-time HR Contact Center Specialist.   While best known for our product and service offerings to our 8 million retail guests each week throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, a lesser known fact is that beautiful La Crosse, WI is home to our ever expanding 140+ acre support campus.  Our La Crosse Campus includes a wide variety of production facilities, distribution center, truck maintenance facility, transportation/logistics, store construction, fuel trading, sales, and pretty much every support department you can imagine a 27,000-coworker strong organization would have. 


As a HR Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting our internal and external customers with regard to Human Resources related needs in a high volume, dynamic Contact Center environment while representing Kwik Trip, Inc. in a courteous and professional manner.  The Contact Center Specialist will interact with customers via business platforms, while utilizing their knowledge base to answer questions and provide assistance in the completion of human resource transactions.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Determine the appropriate way to handle Human Resources related questions as outlined by established protocols
  • Accurately document interactions to ensure proper course of action was taken
  • Ensure customer and coworker satisfaction by personally committing to consistently exceeding customer and coworker expectations
  • Support Benefits, Employment, Payroll, Recruiting, and Safety departments by being better than the best
  • Train coworkers and customers and promote all changes within the function of Human Resources
  • Assist in the administration of day-to-day Human Resources operations



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience (Human Resources and Customer Service) is required
  • Knowledge of Kwik Trip Mission and Values
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Proven ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
  • Typing proficiency of at least 50 plus words per minute
  • Accurate/detail oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate resolutions to complex Human Resources issues
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work with others in a team-based atmosphere
  • Displays patience during chaotic situations
  • Self- starter, performance orientated
  • Ability to respond to a continually changing environment
  • Embrace technology
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus
  • Willingness to relocate to the La Crosse, WI area


Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours (HR Hours: 7:00am until 5:00pm)
