Kwik Trip has an excellent opportunity for a Graphic Designer.  This individual will focus on marketing Kwik Trip, Inc.’s 750+ convenience stores. This individual will create and prepare advertising, packaging, sales, and promotional materials to enhance and further retail sales, goals, and maintain Kwik Trip’s proper corporate graphic identity and standards.

 

Job Description:

The Graphic Designer’s primary responsibility will be working with project requestors to ensure that their message and intent is produced in an effective and positive manner while following Kwik Trip Inc.’s branding guidelines.

 

Regular tasks:

  • Create accurate and eye-catching Point of Purchase materials, which includes advertising, signage, brochures, forms, packaging, coupons, Power Point presentations, billboards, and specialty pieces for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Uphold corporate identity and standards
  • Ensure that all legal and registered trademarks are used where appropriate on all items produced
  • Produce in-house promotion and support materials for internal use and projects
  • Develop banners, signage, Gift/Credit Cards, posters, and training materials

 

Qualifications: 

  • Associates degree with a minimum of at least three years of marketing/graphic design experience
  • Expert ability using MAC operating systems (Adobe Creative Suite —Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat
  • Skilled with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/InDesign/Acrobat, and Photoshop) to create and move large variety of art and data files between programs, peripherals, and printing processes
  • Knowledge of graphics designs programs and Microsoft Word programs to create, enhance, and manipulate
  • Working knowledge of transferring a variety of scans and file/text formats to different design programs
  • Skill in keying 30 WPM to create text-heavy advertising
  • Skill in creating high-end graphic work with little support documentation
  • Ability to be creative
  • Demonstrated high level of customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Organized and detail orientated
  • Highly self-motivated and creative
  • Possess excellent math skills with the ability to analyze and interpret information into meaningful results
  • Knowledge and experience preparing print ready files for a range of print (litho and flexo) and digital applications, with packaging layout experience a plus.
  • Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of Stuffit, HTML5, and Fetch is a plus.

 

Work Schedule:  Typically, Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
