Kwik Trip Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Financial Crime Specialist. 

 

Job Description:

 

This co-worker will be responsible for collecting on bad debt and using Loss Prevention and Risk Management tools to help protect Kwik Trip’s assets.

 

Regular tasks include:

  • Locating and tracking fraudulent checking accounts
  • Pulling video, receipts, and check images for legal cases as necessary
  • Posting collection agency payments and restitution payments
  • Processing and filing necessary paperwork for all bankruptcies related to NSF accounts
  • Provide quality customer service to all non-cash customers
  • Making collection calls and sending legal notices to accounts with returns or high balances
  • Maintaining files for collection data, uploading documents to electronic databases, and assisting with address/phone updates

 

Qualifications: 

  • Educational background normally attained through the completion of a Associates degree
  • Minimum of 1 year related-experience
  • Knowledge of Company check acceptance policies as well electronic check deposit and representing policies
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively with customers and/or co-workers where strong interpersonal skills are required
  • Knowledge of AS/400 system, skip tracing sites, Sap, and collection software is a plus
  • Prior experience with video and recording systems
  • Strong time management, judgment, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Self-directed and proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. 
  • Guest service and proper phone etiquette
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information

 

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours, with occasional Saturdays.
