This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of EV programs and projects at Kwik Trip.  This includes budgeting, performance analysis, reporting, process improvement, and customer and stakeholder engagement to help retail and the company achieve their goals. 

 

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with leadership to strategically develop electric vehicle programs.
  • Analyze market trends and technologies to optimize electric vehicle programs.
  • Meet with program team members and cross functional teams to guide program success.
  • Manage program budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting results to leadership.
  • Direct the design process for EV projects such as utilities, grading, concrete, EV charging equipment, etc.
  • Comprehend and interpret building codes and permit processes to be able to obtain appropriate permits to complete the EV projects. Attend city meetings to get approvals if required.
  • Obtain bids, hire, and coordinates contractors for various aspects of development EV projects and capital expenditure EV projects.  Support internal and external resources in these areas as needed. 
  • Budgeting, planning, designing, and coordinating retail capital expenditure EV projects.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management field or related trade experience.
  • At least 3 years of EV operations management.
  • Knowledge of EV equipment, practices, and principles.              
  • Knowledge of planning, design, and permitting procedures to obtain necessary approvals to do EV projects. 
  • Knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials to be able to complete the EV projects.        
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Maximo, and other programs to efficiently manage the projects.    
  • Strong oral and written communication skills                                
  • Problem solving skills to handle issues when they arise.            
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, employees, and contractors to be efficient.    
  • Ability to embrace change and new processes within the department and company.           
  • Ability to work efficiently without continuous supervision to get projects completed on time and within budget.

Candidates must be willing to relocate to the La Crosse area and possess a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record. 

Work Schedule: 45 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with some evening meetings and overnights.  Flexibility in schedule.
