Digital Marketing Manager - La Crosse, WI:  Due to Kwik Trip’s continued growth and success we are adding a Digital Marketing Manager.  While best known for our product and service offerings to our 8 million retail guests each week throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa, a lesser-known fact is that beautiful La Crosse, WI is home to our ever expanding 140+ acre support campus.  Our La Crosse Campus includes a wide variety of production facilities, distribution center, truck maintenance facility, transportation/logistics, store construction, fuel trading, sales, and pretty much every support department you can imagine a 36,000-coworker strong organization would have. 

 

Job Description:

 

This coworker will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Kwik Trip Inc.’s Digital Content Strategy to support company goals and drive brand awareness through and established digital identity across all digital channels including social media, paid digital advertising, programmatic, website, mobile, and email marketing.

 

Regular tasks include:

  • Direct Kwik Trip, Inc.’s brand identity across all digital platforms to ensure all content meets established company standards and is consistent to our corporate brand principles.
  • Develop content governance guidelines for tone, stye, and voice of all content, and ensure they are followed
  • Direct Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Social Media Strategy, Influencer Marketing Strategy and Paid Digital Strategy to align with company objectives.
    • Includes negotiations, authorizing contracts and approving budgets
  • Oversee, train and coach Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Social/Content/Paid Digital team.
  • Conduct periodic content audits to ensure content strategy meets business objectives
  • Oversee Content Creation and Distribution to online channels and social media platforms.
  • Serve as Design Lead for digital materials supporting Kwik Rewards Loyalty Program and Digital Media Campaigns.
    • Includes designing or delegating design work for email, social, display, web, mobile app, etc.
  • Drive Creative strategy for Kwik Trip, Inc.’s online merchandise and e-commerce projects
  • Evaluate and purchase merchandise such as clothing, accessories, etc. to resell to customers online
  • Negotiate terms of agreements to achieve the best deal for Kwik Trip, Inc.
  • Create reports on sales, budgets, and customer satisfaction

 

The Manager will also be responsible for developing and sustaining strong working relationships with vendors, retail, and other Support Center departments.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • 5-10 years of related Marketing experience is preferred
  • Performs work under minimal supervision
  • Lead, teach, and coach others through cooperation and teamwork
  • Handles complex issues and challenges, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Work Schedule:  45 hours or more per week, Monday through Friday, typically daytime hours. It may be necessary for this co-worker to work alternate work schedules and additional hours.
