Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Information Technology Department is seeking a full-time Business Support Specialist, to primarily serve as the IT Subject Matter Expert for our Accounting and Finance software.  This person will be involved with:

  • Develop solutions in Accounting and Finance
  • Support & troubleshooting
  • Serve as a knowledge expert/super user
  • Assist with software administration & configuration
  • Implementation, documentation, and training
  • Coordinating test plans & scripting
  • Recommending vendor relationship efficiencies
  • Reporting & analytics
  • Research & innovation planning, and other responsibilities related to Winshuttle software

 

Qualifications:  Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two year college, as well as two or more years’ experience as a business or IT software specialist. 

 

Candidates should possess the following:

  • Experience with JavaScript, SQL, XML, and various scripting tools.
  • Experience with Onbase
  • Knowledge of standardized database design and administrative tasks (SQL Server)
  • Experience with standardized reporting tools (SSRS, Crystal, etc)
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methods. 
  • Experience with monitoring system logs and providing details and analysis to vendor support teams.
  • Experience with master data management concepts is very beneficial, but not required.  
  • Experience with Winshuttle and/or SAP ERP software is a plus.

 

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software for word processing, spreadsheets, visualizations, project planning, etc.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to educate individuals on new systems as well as changing software features and functionalities.
  • Ability to develop approaches to solving problems in new business situations and technical environments.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department directors, managers, co-workers, and external vendors.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, interpret co-worker requests, and develop detailed design specifications.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities. 

 

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours,
