Kwik Trip, Inc. is seeking a full-time Bakery Production Manager.  This person will lead and directly manage supervisors and support in the management of all coworkers in the Kwik Trip Sweets Bakery to ensure quality, safety, sanitation, and productivity expectations are met.  This individual will:

  • Coach and train supervisors and coworkers to achieve company goals and objectives while meeting all government regulations
  • Implement quality and production standards
  • Ensure compliance with Kwik Trip safety policies and OSHA standards
  • Provide support for the production process
  • Assist in daily plant operations


This leader will also be responsible for ensuring that excellent customer service standards are met; managing, training and developing supervisors and coworkers; completing daily and weekly paperwork; creating work schedules; reviewing time records; writing performance appraisals; following and enforcing all company policies; maintaining the KT Kitchens high standards of working conditions – (cleanliness, safety, quality, security, inventory).


Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of previous management experience in a similar fast paced production facility; currently have or the ability to obtain CPR/AED certification, OSHA 10hr; strong proven leadership skills; ability to work well alone and as part of a team; strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; problem solving skills; accurate and detail oriented; willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks; read, understand, and interpret numbers; ability to provide co-workers with timely and professional job performance feedback; exercise sound judgment within company guidelines; follow and enforce company policies; prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks; meet department deadlines; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; ability to work in a fast paced, safety conscious environment; work with minimal supervision; and possess traits of Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Core Values: high level of Honesty & Integrity, show Respect, strive for Excellence, Humility, encourage Innovation and possess a “roll up your sleeves” Work Ethic.  Maintenance aptitude is a plus.


Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm with rotational weekend on-call duties.  Must have the flexibility to change work schedule if necessary.
