Our state-of-the-art Bakery and Bread & Bun departments located in La Crosse, WI produce over 60 varieties of sweet good and bread products for approximately 800 retail stores.  Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from mouth-watering muffins, turnovers, bagels, cookies, to loaves of fresh bread. 

Join the warehouse team of our Bread and Bun Plant as a Bakery Material Handler where you will be trained to accurately select and load our Bread and Bun products to be shipped to our retail stores. 

Work Schedule:  Sunday through Saturday with rotating days off working 4:00am to 12:00pm

Qualifications:

• Adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards
• Basic math aptitude
• Read/understand/interpret numbers
• Willing to learn/perform a variety of job tasks
• Work in a fast paced production environment
• Work in a noisy environment frequently
• Work in temperatures of 70-90+ degrees F
• Work well alone/with others
• Accurate/detail oriented; work in a safety conscious environment

Prior order selector/material handling, power pallet jack, and narrow aisle reach lift experience is a plus but not required.

Physical requirements: stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist constantly; kneel/squat occasionally; lift/carry 30 pounds to 82 inches frequently; lift/carry 50 pounds to 60 inches frequently; push/pull up to 87 pounds of force occasionally. 

Benefits:

• Starting rate of pay: $18.00 per hour
• Weekend Premium Pay: additional $3.00 an hour between the hours of 7:30pm Friday and 5:00am Monday
• A year end cash bonus - 40% of profits shared with our coworkers
